Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is rumored to be introduced in India in the near future. It is believed that it will replace the Galaxy A56 model.

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, being the follow-up to the Galaxy A56 from last year, was just seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site. This implies that the launch of the phone in India might be very near. However, the official information is not yet disclosed, the certification definitely adds more weight to the news that pointed to a launch in early 2026. The listing of Samsung Galaxy A57 on BIS could be a way for Samsung to reveal its launch plans shortly. This speculated phone might be unveiled together with the Galaxy A37, which is also anticipated to have upgraded camera and display features.
Samsung Galaxy A57 5G: Could be Launched in India.
Samsung smartphone with model SM-A576B/DS appeared in the BIS listing and got its approval on December 31st, 2025. The DS suffix suggests that the device will support a dual SIM feature. Even though the marketing name was not mentioned in the certification, Samsung’s model numbering pattern indicates that this phone will be released as the Galaxy A57 5G and thus be the next Galaxy A56.

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G: BIS approval usually means a product is very close to its official announcement in India, so the company is most likely going to make the launch public in a few months. It is said that the handset may be released in February 2026, maybe at the same time as or a little after the Galaxy S26 series. The fact that the Galaxy A57 has just been certified makes the earlier leaks about the device hitting the market in early 2026 look more credible.
