Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G: Possible Specifications
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Xiaomi’s sub-brand announced that it will soon launch the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G in India. Additionally, a dedicated microsite for the tablet is now live on the Xiaomi India online store, confirming its availability in the country through the platform. This launch comes shortly after the tablet was introduced in some European countries with a starting price of EUR 379.9 (approximately ₹40,000) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G is available in Silver, Graphite Gray, and Lavender Purple in some international markets. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro features a 12.1-inch 2.5K (2,560×1,600 pixels) display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. Redmi claims that the screen has low blue light and flicker-free certifications from TUV Rheinland.

It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The upcoming Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G also boasts a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and 300 percent audio boost support.
For photos and videos, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G features a single 8-megapixel camera on the back, housed within a pill-shaped module, along with an LED flash. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. In Europe, this tablet comes with a 12,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging.
